Mark Kermode has been co-curating Screenplay since it started in 2007, and loves Shetland. He has been resident film critic for BBC Radio 5 for ten years, and also presents on BBC News and The Culture Show. In the 1990s he was film critic for BBC Radio One. His ‘cinematic autobiography’, It’s Only A Movie, was published in 2010, and his latest book, The Good, The Bad and the Multiplex: What’s wrong with Modern Movies? was published last year.
