Shetland Arts is committed to protecting the online privacy of children under the age of 18. Where a child is providing us with "personally identifiable information" (PII), it is the responsibility of each parent or guardian to supervise them.

As part of our child protection policy for the website we will be:

• Pre-moderating any films that appear on the site.
• Films submitted by under 18 year olds will also be moderated by a child protection officer.
• Ensuring that parental consent has been obtained for films where the film-maker is under 16, as well as for those under 16s who may appear in the films.

We encourage parents and guardians to monitor their children's use of the internet.
